Aerospace Testing Workshop
Event Overview
This event is designed to provide hands on testing of BLDC motors using a thrust bed and a structured introduction to UAV systems,
focusing on BLDC motors, flight dynamics, and system-level simulation using MATLAB Simulink.
Participants will gain conceptual clarity along with practical exposure, forming a strong foundation for UAV modeling, control design, and future hands-on projects.
By the end of this event, participants will be able to:
• Understand the role of Simulink in system-level modeling
• Explain the working principles of BLDC motors
• Describe basic UAV flight dynamics and control concepts
• Prepare a simulation-ready environment for UAV-related projects
Participants are required to complete the following prerequisites
before attending the event:
1. Installation of MATLAB & Simulink
2. Basic understanding of BLDC Motors
3. Laptop with minimum 8GB RAM
